First Day in Paris

We took the Eurostar train to Paris, what a civilized way to travel! The Chunnel is just under 20 minutes which is shorter than I expected. How dignified it is to go to Paris for wine and cheese!

We visited Sacre Coeur, near our hotel in Montmartre.

On the way home from our sunset cruise on the Seine (with 1000 of our closest friends) we stopped by l’Arc du Triomph after walking up the Champs Elysees.

The Moulin Rouge is very close to our hotel, and yes, that means our hotel is in the heart of the adult entertainment district (although in many ways the entire city is one big adult entertainment district)
